Mtre. Sebastian L. Pyzik practises in civil and commercial litigation. He pleads regularly before the courts of first instance and the Court of Appeal of Quebec, as well as before arbitration tribunals. He is also a strategic advisor to many clients in litigious contexts.
Sebastian acts in complex cases in several fields, including in contractual disputes, real estate and construction disputes, white collar defence, injunctions, defamation and employment disputes law. He also practises in sports law, notably in doping cases and selection disputes.
Sebastian published various articles on the duty of good faith and the implied duty of confidentiality. Sebastian is also involved in the Advocates’ Society and teaches Obligations at the Quebec Bar School.
Sebastian joined Woods after having worked for a national firm in Montreal and Toronto. He also completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA). Sebastian holds a black belt in taekwondo and is a former Quebec and Canadian champion.
