Lara Itani, new lawyer at Woods

Woods is proud to announce that Lara Itani, recently sworn in, has chosen to continue her career with our team. Lara has successfully completed her articling with the firm, demonstrating her dedication and excellence in the field of litigation.

Drawing on the varied experience she acquired during her articling period, Lara will develop her practice in large-scale civil and commercial litigation. She already assists in a wide range of areas, including complex commercial matters, shareholder disputes, professional and environmental liability, as well as large-scale class actions.

A graduate of the BCL/JD program with a minor in Political Science from McGill University, Lara also broadened her horizons by completing a semester of studies in international, European and comparative law at the University of Trento in Italy. Throughout her university studies, she accumulated significant experience, including two summers spent in a firm specializing in litigation and her active participation in the Pierre-Basile-Mignault Moot Court Competition.
